Fulfilling week

Wednesday,
half day JB trip!
My first ever stamp on my passport since it's renewal a month back! ;)
First stop: Dim Sum place for breakfast! ;)
Next is the best Curry Ipoh hor fun just down the lane.
Chance upon this shop that sells so many minions!
Third stop was The Toast! Where we had different toasts, mee siams and they sell good mee hoon kweh! But i didn't had any because i was feeling really bloated by then.
The ones squeezing at the back of the car.
The irritating one at work with me, Jess! ;)
The weather wasn't fantastic that day as it kept raining. But overall, it was great. We could have made it a whole day trip if only we brought along the company phone. Meh.

Thursday,
Meet our new addition to the family! Ted in apron!
Omg so much love for this bear and its movable eyebrows. Haha.
Ration caught it during a game in Taiwan. Brought it to workplace as no one at home plays with soft toys, while her dad calls it junk. Meh.
A little gift from Kat. Haha.
Ration exclusively got Jess and I this cute little sticker from Taiwan which can be flipped open and write notes.
Twelve cupcakes in mini form! From one of the student's mummy.
Finish it in a mouth. Haha.
Here's Jess's red velvet and mine, forever chocolate chocolate! ;)

Made my way down to Timbre after work with the girls!
It was my first time to Timbre!
Feeling pretty excited as Jess had been there telling me how nice the Duck pizza was! And i'm bent on tasting it. Haha. Thankful that Jo made reservation for us, as it was pretty pack due to two or three birthday celebrations going on and what not. Seems like a really happening place.
Sadly, our seat was not fantastic. Beside us were a group of 4 uncles in their fifties, chatting really loudly.
If you are following me on twitter, you would have read my rants.
From this simple an hour or so, i've known so much about this particular uncle sharing his life story to his Indian friend, while the other two uncles kept quiet. It's not like i want to listen to his story, but its that loud that he was sharing and he's so proud of himself. Malaysia Boleh! Yes, he is a malaysian, used to have a pink IC but he gave up. And this goes on for another hour or so. And when the live band starts playing their music, the uncle literally shouted across the table, so excited that he pushed the table forward. Really?!
Thank goodness his Indian friend left after which, then they called for the bill and left. Phew.
I mean, if you wanna share this kind of story together with beer, find a pub that doesn't have live band? Geez.

Photos for the evening.
Drinks! RuiLiang's tea, Jo's Strawberry Margarita, mine was Snowball (Jo's recommendation)
Potato wedges with sweet chilli sauce
Half half pizza: Roasted duck and some chicken. Haha can't remember.
Ambiance of the place. Left is Singapore River, front is the live band.
Last minute order, Buffalo wings! There are 5 drums and 5 wings.
Here's a night view of our little dot. Love my wide lens! :D
Spot Ruiliang.
She asked: am i your attraction? haha.
Putting my fish eye lens into good use! :)
Walked to Funan IT mall for the ladies. haha. High tide.
Magnum ice cream as we walk back to City Hall Mrt station.
That pretty much sums up my Thursday evening! ;)

As for today, it's my off day!
It's Teachers' Day!
Although i'm not considered a teacher, but i still get to enjoy this off day. Haha.
Happy Teachers' Day to all educators out there! ;)

Till then,
xoxo
