Here's to the shortest month of the year!
To start it off, it's a happy occasion,
Chinese New Year!
Had an early yearly reunion dinner with the girls.
We considered HDL & Coca, but we still went back to Coca. Haha.
In school, the kids had CNY celebration too!
Some kids are missing and this was snapped on my phone. The official and nicer photos are somewhere over the rainbow... Hahahahaha
This year's reunion dinner falls on 7th Feb, which also happens to be Mum's birthday!
Sis and I had a mini celebration with mum and blessed her with red packets, simply because we really don't know what to get for her and time isn't on our side.

The highlights for CNY are the first and second day.
So on the first day of CNY, our tradition was to stay at home, and it remains the same for this year too. So sis and I usually chill the whole day till the evening when paternal side relatives slowly stream into the house.
Except that someone dropped by in the evening and got herself some red packets. Haha.

Day 2! It's time for visiting!
Annual affair to Grandma's on Day 2! But this year is slightly different with the absence of grandma. She had been hospitalized a few days before CNY. Hence the mood was kinda off for this year.

After creating a slight ruckus at grandma's place, we placed everything back in place and went to visit her as a group! We brought the atmosphere to the hospital hoping to cheer her up a little.

& today is the day when you see my love appears :)
He usually comes for the whole day, but this year his side have visiting too, which is quite rare i must say.
So love left while we were still at grandma's home.

This year, we had our partners joining us & Daniel.

This year's Valentines Day was not really in the mood as well, as my paternal side uncle passed away. So love and I spent lunch time together, visited grandma at the hospital followed by the wake thereafter.
Lunch was at Oh My Tian!
It was really tasty and we eventually went back for second round few weeks later.

By now y'all should have known that my life revolves around these few things, love, work, family, food, food, food and friends.
There's isn't much adventures in my life, nonetheless i'm very contented :)
