LANGKAWI TRIP PART II

Day 3 - 191211 (Monday)
Cereals for breakfast :)
Love's breakfast.
Had our first breakfast in Langkawi with love, the rest are still asleep.
Island hopping!
Before boarding the boat

The first island: Maiden island.
Spot the pregnant lady!
Second island!
Family of monkeys

Dayang Bunting - Geoforest park
After being through a long flight ups and downs, uneven stairs, we made it to the place.
Breathtaking!

Love's friends swimming. The water is 10meters deep with no lifeguard.
Basically swimming at own risk.
Parted with the second island and head to the next, which is the land of eagles!
The amount of eagles in the air was totally uncountable.
Basically we stayed on the boat, our captain threw a bucket of meat into the sea, and we waited for the eagles to fly down and grab the food.

Onward to the last island!
Beras Basah Island:
its an amazing island!

End of island hopping, a mere 4 hours+, I went to 4 different popular island! :)
Proceed back to our room, freshen up and changed.
Love and I decided to hit the streets instead of wasting time sleeping in the room.

This is Langkawi's ramly burger! Beef special!
It comes with a drink, a double patty burger and fries! It only cost us 6RM if im not wrong.
Time check: 1538
Love and the awesome burger! We only ordered one set to try. In the end, i finished most of it, as it was soooo nice! Love was nice enough to let me have it.
Walked pass the Underwater world, went into the souvenir section.
Rented 2 cars for a day for 100RM only.
Proceed to Langkawi's airport as love's friend need to settle his air ticket. He is extending his stay as his parents are coming over on the day we are leaving.

Drove to a totally kampung style restaurant for dinner. The food was heavenly!
It seems like fish to them is expensive, therefore it is sold in a different manner. Consumers like us, we are able to choose which particular fish we want and how to cook it.
Time check: 2053
Their open kitchen. You could see how they cook their dishes!

Me being a tourist

Day 4 - 201211 (Tuesday)
We had drinks by the beach, celebrated love's friend's birthday! :)
Love's breakfast

Mine: pancakes!

This time round, love's brother came along shortly after we ordered food :) the rest are still snoozing.
We made our way to the cable car!

Spotted along the road side! Real bulls?cows?

Queuing for the ride :)
Pit stop
The hanging bridge
This is our destination! Which is also the peak of the cable car ride.

Making our way to the hanging bridge, flights of stairs, real tiring.

Reached!

Time check: 1425

Drove back and head back to our room to rooms!
Refresh ourselves, rested for a bit, off we go for water sports, which is the Banana boat!
The ride was awesome! It only cost us 10RM each!
Had a super late dinner celebration for love's friend.
Time check: 2210

We had good deals mainly because one of love's friends always come here for holiday and his parents know many people here. Another point is because another love's friend, stayed in Malaysia for a few months, therefore is able to converse with them better using their accent.

Day 5 - 211211 (Wednesday)
Breakfast bar for breakfast with love!

Tried their wanton noodles

Love's langkawi breakfast.

Wifi spot at motel's lobby
Met up with the rest for their brunch. Love and I are not hungry after a heavy breakfast.
Initially we wanted to have the best ramly burger, but it is closed on every Wednesday :(
Took a stroll back to our motel to wait for our shuttle bus to pick us up to the ferry.

The Banana boat ride!
Love's footprint

The water tap we are using for the last time to wash away those sands
Love's friend's parents are here, we are waiting for our shuttle bus to come.
On the shuttle bus back to the ferry terminal
Love feeling upset that he is leaving Langkawi (on the ferry)

Pit stop at Alor Setar to take our train, and had our dinner there.
A really ulu place.

Waiting for the train

Day 6 - 221211 (Thursday)
Waiting for the next train from KL to Woodlands

This marks the end of my Langkawi trip with love and friends :)
Although the trip to and fro was long, but its the experience that i've gained.
Everything there is so laid back and cheap.
Would definitely go back there again with love!

xoxo

Thank you baby, for planning this trip.
Definitely memorable.
I'm looking forward to more trips with you!
