This year's Father's day is a different from the previous years.
Major changed in my family that took place last year.
Dad was now a partial handicap, and it's soon to be a year since the incident happened.
Not to worry, he is slowly recovering.
Everyday I pray for him to get well soon.
This round of illness actually made dad a nicer person to communicate with.
He is now a less hot-headed person and is more calm and nice when he speaks to us. But his commandment of tone will still be there at times.
Dad,
You've done everything you could for the past 20 years. Being the sole bread winner for the family, providing us with food and everything you could to keep the family going.
Now that this had happened to you, it's sort of considered that you've retired unless after recovery you would want to go back to the workforce again.
But for now, rest and rehabilitation is more important than anything else.
Fret not, worry no more Dad.
Everything are in your daughters hands.
We might be young, but we'll keep this family going.
Although things are different from the past, but we still love you deep down.
Thank you for bringing us to this world, it may not be pretty, but you made them good with your love, care and concerns.
Happy Father's Day daddy!
