Highlights of 2016

Days into the new year 2017, am finally here to recap on my year 2016.
2016 was definitely a memorable one with milestones achieved and highlights of my (our) life.

So here goes...

- Family -
No major changes!
Except that Sis fired her boss and went travelling for almost 2 months in UK! & at the same period of time, Mumsie also went overseas to the UK as well, leaving Paps and I all in this little red dot.

- Relatives -
we've additional two new members! Which means 2 of my cousins got married! Ironically, one was at the start of the year, the other was at the end of the year! ^^
We also have a new member, little Lara cutie pie! She is Lukas' younger sister! She looks totally like a doll and is always so smiley! :)

- Love -
We are still the same old same old couple! Just that we've progressed on:
WE ARE ENGAGED!
This is probably the highlight of our lives! People had asked years back, when are we getting married and all... but hey, at least we made some progress. Hahaha.
It was a simple affair which was totally to my liking, cause the both of us didn't like crowds! & I don't find the need to have people that are total strangers to us to be witnessing nor snapping this moment which belonged to us, and only us.
I must say, although it wasn't as accordingly as what he had planned (i found out as well, haha) , at least the effort was there. It was not in this little red dot, but in Krabi! Why Krabi? I have no idea as well. We've been there before years back, probably just wanted a laid back place to chill and have the time of our lives! Oh its our 'hometown' as well, self proclaimed.

- Work / Studies -
Love's work is progressing well for him. He finally attained his Silver Wing after trying to get a slot for so damn long. So damn proud of you, my love.
He is also gonna complete his studies next year, like a finally. (better don't have to retake any) He had to retake a semester due to his work, overseas training and what not...
But at least, the light is at the end of the tunnel!

I've finally graduated from the school with a cert to teach in a preschool! Was really relief and glad that we had done it, although its just a year. But returning back to study after a break of 3 years wasn't easy...
But who knew, things went downhill at work... So much shit and bombs fired over but no help was given. Ahh, enough of this miserable shit.

- Travel / Experiences -
Love and I traveled to a few places this year.
Krabi, Bangkok and Korea!

Krabi was the place that would be kept close to our hearts for the memorable event that plays an important role in our lives.

Bangkok will always be our favourite to-go escape from this tiring stressful home.

Korea, it was our first time there.., and experiencing winter together!
& the highlight was definitely the SNOW!
It has always been on my bucket list to witness snow in real life, and im so damn bloody thankful that i managed to see it right in front of my eyes and touch it with my bare hands! Although I didn't managed to see it fall from the sky, but playing with it was sufficient! Actually that was one of my goals for this trip!
Overall, Korea was pleasant! Love the vibe, scenery and food!
Omg the food are my to-die-for literally.
How could I ever get sick of Korean food?!! Never!!
We have too many pictures of Korea that I don't even know where to start.

Seoul far seoul good!

That's all for now...

Till next time,
xoxo
