Homebound

Thailand is home, home is Thailand.
Okay, second home.

My first trip of 2017!
Also my first trip with friends, not including school/work trips!

So happy to be back, but this time round, it's with the girls!

Here we go!

Day 1
(SG - DMK airport - Platinum Mall - Siam Paragon - Siam Square - Mr Jones Orphanage - Central World - Talad Neon)

Our flight was at 0655hrs, so imagine our faces early in the morning.

Thankful for love that sent me and pj to the airport!

Bangkok's jam was horrible, though not my first time being caught in one! We were stuck in the jam till we were restless and we decided to alight the taxi.

We lugged our luggage and combed the whole platinum mall before checking in the hotel, since we were early for check in.

Nana did her research on halal food in bkk and we went to this!

Omg the food was so damn frigging good!!

Then we went to the very new Talad Neon!

Being pj's first time there, day 1 was set to chill and familiarise the area/culture.

Day 2

(Big C - Massage - After You - Siam Square - Chatuchak - Mookata - Talad Rod Fai Srinakarin)

Kicked start the day bright and early, with a whole list of plans and to-dos. But only it was all pushed back due to it being Buddhist Day and Chatuchak only opens after 1pm.

& We went crazy with the snacks there!

Chanced upon a popup outside Siam Discovery!

These two went OMG when they saw Churros

Then we proceeded on to the famous After You

So good, so delicious!

Time for dinner after one hell of a cab ride. Thankful for Grab car! It was my second visit using Grab!

Finally, Talad Rod Fai, Srinakarin!

My all time favourite which I ran towards it upon sight.

Maxed out our Day 2 from 7.30am to 1am!! Unbelievable!

We were all dead beat after we reached back to the hotel.

Day 3, 

which is also the last day!

(Platinum mall - Sabx2 - DMK airport - SG)

We went for last minute shopping at Platinum mall, had Sabx2 before heading to the airport as our flight was at 4pm.

There wasn't many photos as we were all too busy walking, eating, looking around, stuck in a jam, but mostly walking.

Since this trip was for first timers to experience BKK, we tried to squeeze in as many activities as possible within the short 3D2N (which was definitely not enough). All activities were only planned on the day or the night before. haha.
